1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using layan.je ("the Service"), operated by layan.je ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

layan.je is a WhatsApp Team Inbox software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables businesses to manage WhatsApp customer conversations through a shared team inbox. The Service includes features such as auto-assignment, SLA tracking, follow-up reminders, media management, and team collaboration tools.

The Service connects to the official WhatsApp Cloud API provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. You are responsible for maintaining your own WhatsApp Business account and complying with Meta's terms of service and WhatsApp Business policies.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

The Service is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Pricing is as listed on our pricing page. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your workspace settings.
  • Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or messages that violate WhatsApp's policies.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code or harmful content.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service. We process your data solely to provide and improve the Service. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by layan.je and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your business purposes.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service depends on third-party providers including Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API), Convex, and Stripe. We are not responsible for outages or disruptions caused by these third-party services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, layan.je shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
