Refund Policy

1. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your layan.je subscription at any time through your workspace settings or by contacting our support team. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
- You will continue to have full access to all features until the billing period ends.
- No further charges will be made after the current period.
- Your data will be retained for 90 days after the subscription ends, after which it will be permanently deleted.
2. Refund Eligibility
We offer refunds under the following circumstances:
- Within 7 days of first subscription: If you are a new subscriber and are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial payment. No questions asked.
- Service outage: If the Service experiences significant downtime (more than 24 consecutive hours) due to issues within our control, you may request a prorated refund for the affected period.
- Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly (e.g., duplicate charges, wrong amount), we will issue a full refund for the erroneous charge.
3. Non-Refundable Charges
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Subscription fees beyond the 7-day initial refund window (partial month usage is not refunded upon cancellation).
- WhatsApp Cloud API messaging fees charged by Meta — these are billed directly by Meta and are outside our control.
- Accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please:
- Email us at billing@layan.je with your workspace name and the reason for your refund request.
- We will review your request and respond within 3 business days.
- Approved refunds will be processed through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.
5. Plan Changes
If you downgrade your plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period. You will not be charged the difference for the remaining days on your current plan. If you upgrade your plan, the new rate takes effect immediately and you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period.
